Inclement Weather

We expect all children to come to school dressed appropriately for the weather and to play outside at break time. Activity in the fresh air provides the children with a necessary break and helps them concentrate fully in the classroom. In the event of very cold or wet weather, we use our discretion in sending the children out. The recess time and lunch break outdoor time may be shortened, allowing them to get some fresh air and exercise. When the weather is just too cold or wet, the children remain in the classroom, supervised by parents, student lunch monitors and/or teachers.
