Telephone Usage

Students may make emergency calls with the permission of the teacher, through the classroom phone. Parents/guardians may leave messages on the teacher's voice mail. Teachers will respond to voice mail messages at their earliest convenience. Any urgent/emergency messages should be left with the school secretary, who will convey the message at the most appropriate time. Every effort will be made to avoid interrupting classroom activities with messages. Students must make after school arrangements with friends on the preceding day. Cell phones should not be at school. If a student must have a cell phone, it must be left in the locker/knapsack during class time.
